蔡康永同志情14年不滅 2年後退出演藝圈

文人出身的蔡康永，卻在綜藝圈闖出一片天，2002年他公開同志身分，也揭開了生命中最重要的男人「George」，神秘的藏鏡人角色，個性反骨的他，身為台灣演藝圈唯一出櫃同志，常有孤軍奮戰的無力感，好奇問他：「如果可以跨越性別藩籬，有沒有人可以拴住你？」他眼睛突然一亮，失落感也沒了，直接點名小S，「她會是我最愛的女人，但不包括上床」。他計劃再過1、2年就退休，不再當主持人，「我不會戀棧，該得的我都得到了，接下來反正就是走下坡」。

他與男友從1994年相戀至今14年，互補個性加上愛旅行，成了愛情持久的催化劑，「1995年我們旅行日本，第2天凌晨就遇到神戶大地震，差點沒命，我們手牽手逃離災區，也因這一震讓我們決定在一起」。

在他的愛情字典裡，直接剔除天雷勾動地火的愛情，「這種都會不得善終」。他不諱言George是生命中最重要的人，「我無法想像萬一他失蹤3天，我的生活肯定完全脫離軌道」。相處久了難免熱情漸減，如何維繫？他說：「旅行，我認為在人生地不熟的地方，最能考驗2人，不管會不會因住旅館或買東西吵架，都是相處哲學。」

他在家像極了大老爺，全靠一張嘴指揮調度，洗衣、做飯都由男友代勞，他大笑：「很多東西如醬油、佐料等我都不知放哪？洗衣機也不知要按哪個鈕？大賣場也是他去。」他表示2人不曾吵架，但開火前，有一方會先閃開，誰錯誰先低頭，「通常快吵架前，都因我不能體會他做家務辛勞，這時我就會自愛趕快分擔一點家事」。

會擔心另一半偷吃？他陷入思考：「其實我不在乎對方偷吃，這話有兩種意涵，一種是自信，一種則是自暴自棄，自信是因為我有獨特的地方，跟別人不一樣，至於自暴自棄……如果我要靠偵測才防得了，那也留不住他。」所以他從不查對方手機或E-mail。

愛情世界中，充斥許多不確定的誘惑因素，蔡康永卻驕傲表示對誘惑免疫，「看到帥哥我會驚為天人，但這跟我無關！像金城武這麼帥，但我會說他是外星人，我老了，比較能分辨什麼事值得，什麼事不值得，我不易被漂亮的人打動，合得來最重要」。擔不擔心幸福不再？他說：「不要逆天行事，要在能力所及的範圍內追求幸福。」

他的幸福哲學很簡單，「享受人生樂趣，就能夠掌握幸福」，他說George很懂生活情趣，如買新魚缸、種新植物，小小舉動卻帶給2人無比樂趣，而他只負責讚美，看似簡單的回應，往往能延續感情。

他雖愛男人，但記者假設性問他：「有沒有愛過女人？」他說：「 若要選擇女性伴侶，小S會是我最愛的女人，不管外表、個性上我們都太合，她是我可以一起生活的女人，我們會因一件事發出，『怎會這樣啊？怎麼那麼賤啊？』等志同道合的驚嘆！」

他 6年前出櫃後，接連主持《康熙來了》等節目，常因在節目中嘲弄胖子、同志，讓他很痛苦，「這世界完全不會照規則走，我無法像鬥士，通常消極做法就是請製作單位修剪帶子，這種嘲笑方式也代表主流意見，但卻讓我感到孤單，《兩代電力公司》反著做方式，在《康熙》行不通；對胖子、同志的讚美，其實是我比較喜歡的方式，我就是那種非主流硬被拱上主流舞台的人」。

他計劃1、2年後退出演藝圈、默默地搞失蹤，換另一個名字出書或去某個國家做別的身分。

全身充滿文人藝術氣質的蔡康永，面對一連串數字，只能舉白旗投降，「從小我對錢只能以『蠢』來形容，花出去的錢，常常一點感覺也沒有」。他對錢的無知，直到出社會，還是沒長進，「我第1次去電影公司打工，因配合標會，結果被騙了20幾萬元，我都渾然不知，只能說，除非是銀貨兩訖的交易，否則我都不懂」。

他從小生活富裕，從未吃過苦，過的也是茶來伸手、飯來張口的日子，「爸爸在世時，從沒有在我面前提到錢，我也不知錢是怎麼回事？就連去美國念大學，他也只要我不要去端盤子，錢的事，在我年輕歲月中，從來都不是問題」。會不會覺得恐怖？他大笑：「現在想起來，我對錢的概念會這麼差，其實很不好。」

投資碰壁

他之前曾與侯文詠合作網路公司，才做了2年就解散，「我們當時覺得公司快完蛋了，既然還有資金剩餘，不如趕快收手，把剩下的錢全部還給股東，自此以後，我也不敢投資了」。

他現在都把錢交由專業會計處理，但碰到買東西殺價，還是開不了口，「除非是用E-mail買東西，對象又是外國人，我才會主動問一下對方，可否給個折扣？我常常對自己說，我真的很Lucky，要不是幸運之神眷顧，應該早就流浪街頭了」。

採訪後記

讀書裝忙 1年K百本

不說話的蔡康永，總給人遙不可及的距離感，與他合作過的藝人，除小S外，私下都不敢擅自突破他架起的防護罩，深怕越了雷池，吃力不討好。他愛看書，平均1年可以看掉100多本書，是平常人的好幾倍，採訪當天，他手上果然「書」不離手，意外的是，他向記者透露小八卦，原來翻書對他而言，除了嗜好，還可以防止別人打擾他，也算是一種保護網吧。

不後悔出櫃

他公開同志身分，原本天真以為，從此可以與另一半大方走出社會道德的枷鎖，但媒體緊迫盯人，他才覺悟，原來自己想法太天真，他笑說：「我們終於體認，原來別人的標準與我們不同，所以他（指男友）從此拒絕再出現在媒體版面。」但他又不忘補充，「但至少我不後悔出櫃，我無法把謊言藏太久，自己放得開，面對外界才會看得開」。

人間事繁多，總感覺來不及、時間不夠用；我們可曾用心計量自己的生命時間？在日常生活中，一般人一天睡眠八小時，換算起來一生有三分之一的時間都在睡眠中度過；加上每日用三餐，以及休閒、旅遊等，共要耗費多少時日？現代社會大多一周上班五天，一天八小時，其中又有多少時間是真正投入工作？

此外，嬰兒時期、就學時期，還有僅在消費中的時間，這都是社會的供應、父母的養育。算一算人的一生，有多少時間是回饋人群？我們要懂得把握時間，用心為人群付出，才是真正的富有人生。

有則發生在美國的故事──一對母女生活窮困，有次小女孩陪伴母親到醫院看病，無意間撿到一個皮夾，內有十萬元美金及其他證件。

母親說：「遺失皮夾的人一定很著急，妳站在原地，等待失主來找。」小女孩在原地等了數小時，終於有位先生神色慌張地前來尋找。她仔細詢問，確定是失主後，很有禮貌地將皮夾還給他。

這位失主原是一位企業家，他很感謝小女孩，知道她的母親生病，看了醫師卻因家貧無法買藥，當下決定要妥善照顧這對母女。

他盡心地尋醫並且負擔醫藥費，雖然母親終究還是往生，企業家卻收養了小女孩，栽培她到大學畢業，還安排進入自己公司學習各種業務。女孩也用心盡力地幫助企業家，以寬闊的心胸與信用，將公司經營得很好。

多年後，這位企業家年邁病危時，立下遺書，寫出在多年前，當他遺失皮夾時，著急的不是錢，而是證件與商業機密。當他看到小女孩站在原地等待數小時，並且了解這對母女家境的窮困，令他感到震撼。

之前，雖然他賺了很多錢，卻必須在商場上明爭暗鬥、忙碌不堪，天天充滿煩惱，很不快樂；直到他遇到這對貧窮的母女時，忽然省悟：這對母女沒有貪念，做到為人該有的品格，才是真富有。

從那時起，企業家用心教養女孩，並且改善企業經營的方向。經過一、二十年的觀察，他認為女孩可以成為真正立下典範的商人，於是決定將所有財產及企業都交由女孩繼承；還說：「相信在國外深造的兒子，能了解我的意思。」

他往生之後，兒子回來看到父親的遺書，對這位女孩甚為感佩，二話不說就簽字同意，同時也提出一項請求，希望能和她結為連理；最後女孩接受了前輩的贈與，同時也接受他兒子的求婚。

透過這則輕鬆的故事，能讓我們理解一位企業家的心靈哲學。賺錢所為何來？有財富也應該有滿足的感受；所以時時要知足、感恩、善解、包容；若是心存貪婪，即使賺再多錢都會感到不滿足，日子也會不好過。

真正的富有有兩種：一種是富中之富──富有有形的金錢，更富有無形無量的愛心；另一種是貧中之富──雖然物質條件並不富裕，仍能勤勞不懈，歡喜付出。能做到富中之富，是有福的人生，貧中之富更是難能可貴，期待人人富有愛心，都能用心、用愛利益人群。

回头看看过去高中发生的点点滴滴，真是一出出赏心悦目的闹剧。不知道他还有没有保留那些情景，像我一样时不时细细地咀嚼回味。

倒是忘了，也许他很开心他终于摆脱了恶梦。

Otak-Otak

I can still remember how much I love Otak-Otak when I was still in primary school after moving to Batu Pahat. There were only 2 choices that I will have to pick from for my breakfast usually; hot-dog-bread or otak-otak-bread.

No more otak-otak though after leaving the state, till then when my friend brought me, from Johor, this memorable food again into my eyes.

There are 2 available flavors to choose from; pure fish, and a mixture of fish and prawn. The Otak-Otak doesn't come in wrapped with banana leaves. This allow creativity in cooking the food other than the traditional way i.e. steaming. Cons and pros so sorry to those Otak-Otak-with-banana-leaves-lovers.

Anyhow, I started off by steaming half of each flavor :P There you see the prawn and fish which are still in a nice shape. The OS that came along with every bite is, "Awh! Why so fresh!"

At last, I decided to take a one day leave today.

It feels terrible to miss a nice sleep, continuously. So even if I cant sleep at night, I guess sleeping in daytime is as easy as while in office could help at least a bit.

I knew it was going to be my night when the rain falls in the afternoon yesterday. And yeah I had an "above average" sleep last night.

I guess I don't mind anymore carrying an umbrella walking home everyday.

话说昨天为了能够让自己有一场好觉，睡前洗了一个热水澡，外加一杯牛奶。结果睡觉的时候是觉得透体通畅没错，但是还是反反复复地辗转在梦醒之间。

那就应该是心理障碍吧。

可惜他们不会惭愧。

拯救睡眠大作战

一觉到天亮的感觉好得不得了，但我却有点开始忘记了那种满足的感觉；欲哭无泪。

一般上我会说我是个敏感的人。睡觉的时候身边一点点的动静都可以让我第一时间内醒过来。原来专业术语称这叫神经衰弱。

经过四处的明察暗访，我小小地收集了一些有利于提高睡眠品质的坊间心得。其一是睡前一杯牛奶，其二是睡前热水澡。

这系列的拯救睡眠大作战打头炮的就是这两点。至于成效有没有到称心如意的地步，就在今晚之后的同一时间给你献上！

爱看电影的人，你们应该也有这样的经验。是不是有哪些电影里面的某句对白或词句时不时会在生活某个点滴刹那从脑海里传了出来？

例如铁达尼号的“You jump，I jump”；又如未来战士3的“Talk to my hand”；等等等等。我自己其实对这些词句都不会留下什么深刻的印象，更不至于突然会想起来。唯独有那么一句；却也不是什么了不起的对白，也绝对不是导演刻意要让观众记得的台词；却真的时不时会在我脑海里念了又念，念了又念。

Did You ICQ?

While I was looking around at download.com, I saw that ICQ was the 6th most downloaded software, with a total downloads of 322,701.

Within a second or two, I recalled how tightly ICQ has fitted into my life ever since I started using Internet in high school.

Few years later however, people go towards MSN and Yahoo Messenger... No more "Oh Oh" sound in the air. But the ICQ flower will always be there in my heart.

Rubik's Cube

Finally, I can solve a Rubik's Cube by myself without referring to any material. Thanks to the book I bought last week from the Book Festival. :)

The Book Fest

It was as planned initially to go Sunway Pyramid for the Iron Man, but later on we decided to go KLCC so that we can attend to the Book Fest after the movie.

Iron Man is indeed a fancy suit :)

The Book Fest requires an entry wrist ticket at RM2, which I recalled the one I got from Genting Theme Park. The Book Fest took place at Hall 1~5 Convention Centre, which basically have Chinese and Malay/English sections separated.

The point is, discounts are given for most of the books varies from 15% to 50% the max. I saw a lot of nice English books but at last decided not to buy them, but this one only Chinese book - guide to Quick Solving of a Rubik's Cube :))

Another thing to mention: I saw Gary the singer, and Ah-Hong the chef :D Gary was here to promote his coming concert, while Ah-Hong was here for his new book.

In between while I was sitting at the park for a break, a beautiful young girl approached and tend to get me contributing to her association. She is sweet enough and yet really good in speaking. I must say I always feel respect to them for every hard effort given. Here's the note she gave.

Passion Fruit Mango Yogurt Cake

The name itself is long enough for short tongue like mine to pronounce. Yet I have to admit, the cake is very outstanding and worth you to practice over and over again to pay for a respect to its high standard.

It is obviously a cake by looking at it, but it is so beautiful that I hardly believe it is edible when I failed to recall any similar cake seen in my previous days. A big plus to its interesting appearance.

It is rather creamy inside with layers of yogurt. It tasted soft, wet and sour just like cheese cake. A must try for those who loves yogurt.

[FW] Cancer Update from John Hopkins

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard

tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains,seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment.About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts)and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine.Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system(IP6, Flor-ssence,Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well.

Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies.Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic.

Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers.

This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.

Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

星光3 · 再见李伯恩

台湾的传奇节目《超级星光大道》第三季在摇滚小子李伯恩的离开背影下，出现了最终的星光3十强。

然而当天最闪耀的恐怕依然还是由百人初选开始就不断地让观众耳目一心的恩客。在这迈入十强的历史性时刻，其他参赛者的的家人有幸能一起分享这光荣的喜悦，然而这份喜悦却远不及恩客的父母兄弟给他的那一个拥抱。

恩客爸爸很满意地说，“这个决定是公平的”。因为这份宽宏的智慧、这把内心客观的尺，可以想象这家人确实不简单；也之所以这样才能调教出恩客这样出色正面的孩子。

他的淘汰没有让人感到很难过，反而大家都很肯定他未来在娱乐圈子里无可限量的前途。评审小玲姐那句“请跟我一起工作”，我想会反复地回响在恩客的支持群里。

节目最后的高潮伴随着我第二次的尖叫声出其不意地来了。“我喜欢一个人。”，恩客想在临走前向他心仪的对象公开表白。现场的气氛顿时凝结，时间像是停止了一样，在等待他要念出来的那个名字。

陶子吓了一跳，继而傻笑；她很期待。恩客一脸正经地说，“我希望她可以好好地比赛”。然后…

就在一阵尖叫声中，划下了美丽的句点。

Saturday Dinner

Burger Ayam Special - RM3/=I was once very addicted to KFC zinger burger; in fact I am still a fan of it. It might sound fun to mention, but I think my first burger ever in my life was taken in Singapore around 10 years old, at the Safari. Since then...

I can still recall how exciting we were every time Mary bought a big box of ice-cream home, when we were still little kids. The ice-cream must be equally divided among us, or else she claimed that we would definitely argue or even cry for it. Nowadays, no no to ice-cream; at least once in a blue moon.

Another Parcel

It's a parcel from Elizabeth. She prepared it all the way from Dubai, during the precious shopping time she had after work. Thank you Elizabeth!

Tatada! I can almost smell the air from Dubai after opening the box.

I thought these are al-Quran at the very first peep. But no, it's my favourite, chocolate!

A camel key-chain which will definitely make me think of Elizabeth every time I hold my keys!

This is the candle which makes me fear no more on darkness! But I doubt if it can sustain for even 5 minutes. :D

Bought a pack of XiuMai today, and I cooked myself a good lunch - Steamed XiuMai & Tomatoes.

With every soft bite, the tomatoes burst with its hot juice spurt all around inside your mouth, sweet and sour.

Grade A+ to the tomatoes.

冰糖葫芦

昨天看了成龙和李连杰的那部"The Forbidden Kingdom"之后，突然想吃冰糖葫芦。于是在The Curve那边买了3包草莓+1包小番茄共RM13，再买了一包砂糖RM1.50，回家后自己亲手制作冰糖葫芦。

首先把砂糖和水以2：1的比例下锅去煮。时间久了，砂糖会溶解变焦黄色，第一步骤就算完成了。

（注：糖在溶解的这个阶段温度很高，烹煮时必须选用铁或木制的汤匙，也不要让手碰到糖浆。）

（注：糖稍微有了焦黄色后，根据不同的锅的材质，要自己拿捏火候。糖煮久就了会变焦，会致癌的那种焦。）

接下来把火熄了后，把你要裹冰糖的材料倒进锅里让他们翻滚。然后迅速地把他们一粒一粒地放置到盘子里，让糖浆给固化。

（注：不要以为可以把剩余的糖浆好像淋汤一样全给他淋下去。固化的糖浆会硬得好像冰块一样很难清洗。而且基于健康的因素，千万不要好像吃饼干似地把糖块吃掉。）

把完成品放到雪柜里面给他冰冻一下 ，口感会很不错，适合在热夏的天气享用 ：）
